The NX Series, the "D" Version with Road-Ready DSP
Within Behringer's NX amplifier range, the NX3000D adds powerful digital processing to the lightweight, energy-efficient chassis of the series. It combines the current reserve of a touring amp with an onboard tuning toolbox, ideal for quickly optimizing any sound reinforcement system.
Who Is It For and What Are Its Uses?
Designed for contractors, DJs, multipurpose venues, and fixed installations, the NX3000D effortlessly powers full-range speakers, tops + subs, or monitor lines. Its bridged mode simplifies powering a demanding subwoofer, while presets and security locks ensure reliable performance night after night.
Key Features for a Reliable and Powerful System
24-bit / 96 kHz DSP, Front Panel and USB Control
The front LCD screen provides access to delays, high-pass/low-pass filters (three types up to 48 dB/oct.), 8 parametric EQs + 2 dynamic EQs, dynamic processing, and access locks. The rear USB port enables configuration, control, and monitoring via the "NX EDIT" software.
High-Density Class D and Switching Power Supply
The Class D topology delivers high power with remarkable efficiency, allowing low operating temperatures and lightweight design. The switching power supply ensures fast transient response, low noise floor, and controlled power consumption.
SmartSense and High Damping Factor
The "SmartSense" impedance compensation linearizes system response regardless of load and strengthens bass foundation. A high damping factor improves speaker cone control, especially in the low-frequency range.
Connectivity and Tour-Ready Security
Combo XLR/6.35mm Jack inputs compatible with balanced or unbalanced sources, twist-lock speaker outputs, stepped gains, 4-segment LED meters, and "Zero-Attack" limiters to protect your transducers. The "back-to-front" ventilation and DC, LF, and thermal protections secure the show.

Questions frequently asked
What power does the Behringer NX3000D deliver according to impedance?
The peak stereo power reaches 2 x 440 W at 8 ohms, 2 x 900 W at 4 ohms, and 2 x 1,500 W at 2 ohms. In bridge mode, 1,500 W is rated at 8 ohms and 3,000 W at 4 ohms.
Can the NX3000D power a subwoofer in bridge mode?
The bridge mode allows powering a subwoofer with 1,500 W peak at 8 ohms or 3,000 W at 4 ohms. The damping factor higher than 145 at 8 ohms helps control low-frequency speakers.
What DSP settings are available on this amplifier?
The 24-bit / 96 kHz DSP includes delay, high-pass and low-pass filters up to 48 dB/octave, 8 parametric equalizers, and 2 dynamic equalizers. Dynamic processing and access locks are accessible via the LCD screen. Configuration and monitoring can also be done via USB using the NX EDIT software.
What inputs and outputs are available?
The combo XLR/6.35 mm jack inputs accept balanced or unbalanced sources. The outputs use twist-lock connectors.
What is the weight and rack size of the NX3000D?
Weighing 3.5 kg for 483 x 231 x 94 mm, this model features a compact format suitable for rack mounting. Back-to-front ventilation and DC, LF, and thermal protection contribute to operational safety.
