BLACKSTAR HT-5RH MKIII
The HT range, multiple award-winning, is one of Blackstar's valve amplifier series. Offering guitarists the classic tones of a valve amp in a compact format, it has become essential for both beginners practicing at home and professional musicians in the studio. Blackstar's R&D team leveraged decades of experience to create this new HT MK III series. The HT-1R MK III, HT-5R MK III, and HT-20R MK III amps retain all the features that made the HT MKII series famous, plus CabRig, the world’s first DSP speaker simulator based on IR (Impulse Response). CabRig allows guitarists to access hundreds of speaker, microphone, mic placement, and room configuration setups. These settings can be saved and stored under 3 presets that can be recalled directly from the amp. An incredible selection of sound options for live or recording is at your disposal! In addition to these cutting-edge new features, the HT MK III series stands out with an attractive new look inspired by high-end boutique amplifiers. The control panel is clear, with a sleek, rounded finish combined with classic 'chicken head' knobs and a new trim. We chose new high-quality mini-switches, updated the LED colors, and added a metal logo. Without a doubt, the design of the new HT MK III amps matches their sonic performance! What you can expect from the new HT MK III amps:
- Blackstar’s patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) control. Unique to Blackstar products, this control allows you to switch from an 'American' sounding amp to a classic 'British' sounding amp.
- Power reduction: a switchable circuit is present on the HT-5R MK III and HT-20R MK III models, enabling smooth and effective attenuation down to only 10% of the amplifier’s rated power.
- CabRig: Our DSP IR-based simulator. Choose from hundreds of mic and speaker combinations via free software and store up to 3 CabRig presets directly in your amplifier.
- Professional recording via USB output: now USB-C, it’s the easiest way to integrate valve amp tones into your recordings.
- The innovative Clean channel offers the ultimate in quality and versatility for clean sounds. It features a Voice switch: American Clean and British Clean.
- The rich and dynamic Overdrive channel has its own Voice switch: Classic Overdrive and Modern Overdrive. Hi Gain tones are tight and precise.
- All models feature four switchable voices via optional FS-22 and included FS-16 footswitches, providing easy access to a wide range of valve tones.
- Line input for jamming or playing along with music.
- Line output for silent practice or recording.
- The 'HT' stands for 'High Tension,' the high voltage required for valves to reach their optimal sonic potential.
