"One World" addresses a fractured world, marked by the rise of populism, modern scourges, climate change, human trafficking, the violation of fundamental human rights, terrorism, and war. Against this backdrop, the work asserts a vision of a peaceful and egalitarian planet, supported by the strength of the collective and the alliance of voices and orchestra.
A text from the exhibition particularly summarizes the spirit of the work around the expression "Tikkun Olam," which means "repairing the world" in Hebrew: a notion of responsibility towards creation, here musically translated through expansive and expressive choral writing.
