Thanks to its poly-cylindrical bore, the GALA aims for flexible sound production, good stability, and an overall balance between chalumeau, clarion, and altissimo registers. The body made of dyed African grenadilla wood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon) contributes to a dense and nuanced timbre, while the wooden tone holes help achieve a homogeneous response and a sense of continuity between registers. The leather pads ensure precise sealing and comfortable playing, and the nickel black plating (rings, medallion, ligature) provides a visual signature that is both understated and elegant.
