A complete lighting control system for touring, stages and live performances

The MagicQ Stadium Connect is designed to deliver a true professional lighting control experience wherever a computer can be installed. It is ideally suited to touring, concert stages, theatres, clubs, events and permanent installations requiring advanced programming.

Its compact format makes transportation easy while retaining the ergonomics of a full-size console. The large GO and BACK buttons, combined with the two motorized crossfaders, ensure precise control of cue lists, which is particularly useful in theatre, musicals, conferences and synchronized shows.

An interface designed for demanding lighting designers and operators

This programming console is aimed at lighting technicians, lighting designers, touring operators and technical production companies that want to work with MagicQ PC without giving up a complete physical control surface. It is also suitable for venue operators, production companies and pre-programming studios.

Professional DJs, event technicians and advanced users will also benefit from its numerous playbacks, audio triggering and network control capabilities. The Stadium Connect allows a complex show to be prepared in advance and then reproduced with responsiveness and clarity suited to live conditions.

Features and new developments

The MagicQ Stadium Connect combines a generous physical interface with MagicQ Stadium software, renowned for its ability to manage large-scale productions. It features 10 fully motorized playback faders and 10 playback encoders, arranged across several banks to provide access to a total of 202 playbacks. Each fader and encoder features customizable RGB lighting for instantly identifying main cues, bumps, effects or dedicated functions.

The motorized playbacks adapt to different working methods. Programmer modes provide access to the intensities of patched fixtures, groups or individual channels. Selected modes allow immediate control of selected fixtures, while Master modes facilitate live adjustments to fixtures or groups without prior programming. This flexibility is ideal for a capture, rehearsal or last-minute modification.

Playback encoders can control intensity, LTP parameters, the size, speed and frequency of effects, as well as timing. They can control their own Cue Stack, be assigned to the fader below, control a complete bank or an entire page of playbacks. Four attribute encoders and an intensity wheel complete the interface for fast programming of LED fixtures, moving lights, LED bars, strobes and media servers.

With 64 universes available directly from MagicQ PC via Art-Net, sACN or Pathport, the Stadium Connect provides comprehensive network output without additional processing hardware. It also enables previewing of 256 universes for pre-programming and up to 400 visualization universes. Its Sound to Light audio input, MIDI ports, LTC Timecode input and output, and 10Scene port further enhance its integration capabilities in lighting, video and show control installations.

Show files are compatible with the ChamSys MQ250M, MQ500M, MQ500M+ consoles and other consoles from the brand. This continuity makes it possible to start programming on a computer, continue on a large touring console, and easily return to the same working environment. The two included dual-color work lights, protective cover, USB cable and powerCON TRUE1 power cable ensure efficient setup as soon as you arrive on site.
