The alder body provides an effective balance of firm lows, present mids, and clear highs, perfect for staying defined in a dense mix. The active HH configuration targets precision: the EMG 57 at the bridge delivers a sharp attack, tight lows, and excellent definition for modern distortion, while the EMG 66 at the neck adds warm mids and deep lows while maintaining clarity. The intentionally minimalist controls (volume + 3-position selector) emphasize playing response, and the fixed HT6 through-body bridge enhances resonance and sustain, especially appreciated in dropped tunings and tight rhythms.
