The Flex Type 2 Red features a DC plug with centre positive polarity in 5.5/2.1 mm. Less popular than centre negative, this standard remains widely used on specific pedals, notably older models or those with positive ground (e.g., "'69 Pedal", Soulbender, Fulltone Octafuzz, or Voodoo Lab Proctavia). It is also recommended for Moogerfoogers, Radial Tonebone, Effectrode, certain Diamond pedals, Blackstar pedals running at 22V DC, as well as some Empress and Kingsley pedals.
