Corelli Crystal: A Set Designed for Versatility Within the Range
The Corelli Crystal strings were designed to offer a balanced sound identity, combining clarity, warmth, and stability. Manufactured with the expertise of Savarez, they aim to provide consistent and reliable performance, with a reassuring playing feel suitable for both study and performance.
For Which Cellist and Uses?
This 3/4 set with medium tension is intended for beginner, intermediate, and many advanced cellists seeking an effective compromise between comfort, response, and tonal quality. It is particularly suitable for versatile use (classical, ensemble music, study repertoire), when a responsive set without stiffness is desired, capable of maintaining a stable sound over time.
Tone
The Corelli Crystal strings stand out with a clear and warm signature: the attack is clean, the response is easy, and the string remains articulate even in soft dynamics. The medium tension helps balance power and softness, while promoting precise intonation and good dynamics, useful for working on bow consistency, string crossings, and phrasing.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
If your cello is indeed 3/4 size, these strings naturally pair with a 3/4 cello bow and a 3/4 cello case. To preserve tuning stability and durability, a rosin suitable for cello can also improve grip and emission consistency.
