For over 60 years, Cort has built a solid reputation thanks to instruments with a particularly competitive quality/price ratio. The G series follows this logic: it revisits the classic "double cutaway" design with a more contemporary approach, while retaining the familiar landmarks that make this format successful. The G300 RAW positions itself as a premium and straightforward version, focused on efficiency, versatility, and recognized components.

The Cort G300 RAW is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want an electric guitar capable of handling rehearsals, stage, and home studio without being limited to a single style. Its 5-position electronics make it very comfortable in rock, pop, funk (clearer, more "cutting" sounds in positions 2 and 4), but also in hard rock and metal thanks to the Seymour Duncan humbuckers and the sustain reserve of a mahogany body.
The Sound
The combination of chambered mahogany and walnut top provides a warm sonic foundation, with present mids and a pleasant dynamic response, while maintaining a more "alive" feel thanks to the chambering. On the pickups side, the Seymour Duncan SH2N (neck) and TB4 (bridge) duo offers a very usable palette: the neck pickup delivers round and defined tones for chords, leads, and bluesier textures, while the bridge pickup provides attack, punch, and precision for riffs and distortion. The 5-way selector switch, with single-coil type sounds in positions 2 and 4, significantly broadens versatility to go from a crisp clean to a powerful distortion without changing guitars.
