A Range Designed for Installation: The DCI (DriveCore Install) DNA
Designed for demanding fixed environments (performance halls, places of worship, auditoriums, hotels, conference centers), the DCI (DriveCore Install) series relies on a proprietary Crown amplification circuit, of hybrid analog/digital type. The goal is clear: to offer stable and precise reproduction while optimizing power consumption and heat dissipation, two essential criteria for rack mounting and continuous operation.
The range is available in " ANALOG " versions (analog inputs) and in network versions " NETWORK " or " DANTE ". This DANTE version adds a secondary network input (Dante / AES67), advanced control functions, as well as essential digital processing for modern installed sound reinforcement.
Who and What Applications Make This Amplifier Stand Out?
This DCI DANTE is primarily aimed at integrators, technical managers, design offices, and operators seeking a multichannel amplifier that is powerful, flexible, and easy to supervise. Thanks to its 4 channels and Dante / AES67 compatibility, it naturally integrates into an audio-over-IP chain: multi-zone distribution, stage feeds, front-of-house reinforcement, fixed monitors, or playback in multiple areas with settings adapted to each zone.
Its advantage is also clear when service continuity is imperative: the redundant network ports and control/monitoring capabilities secure operation, enable rapid diagnostics, and maintain consistent performance levels even during extended use.
Technical specifications
| LevelMAX Limiter | protects the system and helps preserve intelligibility and power handling. | Delay | facilitates time alignment (fills, delays, distribution zones) for a coherent sound image. |
| EQ | adjusts the response to compensate for room acoustics, a speaker, or a specific zone. | ||
Questions frequently asked
What power per channel at 4 ohms and 8 ohms?
All four channels deliver 300 W each at both 4 ohms and 8 ohms, amounting to 4 x 300 W.
Is the Crown DCI Dante compatible with Dante and AES67?
Thanks to its independent primary and secondary network ports, this amplifier supports Dante and AES67 networks. It can operate at 48 kHz or 96 kHz. Control and monitoring are carried out via the Audio Architect interface.
Can speakers be powered on a 70 V line?
At 70 V, the rated power is 4 x 300 W. At 2 ohms, the power is 4 x 150 W.
Which DSP settings are integrated?
The built-in DSP includes a LevelMAX limiter, an equalizer, and a delay. These processes help protect the system and align sound zones.
What are the dimensions of the Crown 4 x 300 W Dante amplifier?
The chassis measures 47.5 x 8.75 x 35.63 cm. Its weight is 9.12 kg.
