The solid alder construction provides a natural balance: present low mids, clear highs without harshness, and a clear attack, ideal for rich chords as well as melodic lines. The Seymour Duncan Seth Lover Alnico IV pickups emphasize a "vintage" signature: an open, warm sound with great definition and dynamics that faithfully follow your playing. The simple electronics (1 volume, 1 tone, and 3-position selector) allow quick switching from a round, enveloping neck tone to a sharper bridge tone, or combining both for a balanced register. The Tune-O-Matic bridge contributes to a crisp attack and solid sustain, enhanced by the set-thru neck joint.

To stay true to the original spirit, opt for electric guitar string sets in 10-46 gauge (the same gauge as the factory-installed D'Angelico Electrozinc 10's).
