The Source is aimed at demanding home studios, engineers on the move, musicians recording in small control rooms, and anyone wanting to centralize monitoring without sacrificing fidelity. You can select a single source or combine several (for example, play a reference on analog input 2 while performing over it via analog input 1). Another major advantage: the headphone section can receive a different source than the one sent to the speakers, convenient for giving the singer a dedicated headphone mix while you monitor the main mix via USB.
Routing, Outputs, and Control: A True Workstation
The Source allows connecting two headphones simultaneously, switching between two pairs of speakers, and integrating a subwoofer. A line output carries the same source as the main monitoring: useful for doubling, sampling, or feeding external VU meters. Ergonomically, the volume control is designed to remain precise and consistent, facilitating comparisons and balance decisions without misleading level changes.
