An Evolution of the Club Mate Series Designed for Mobile DJs
Derived from the evolution of the Club Mate 12 and 15 sets as well as the Soundmate III, this system belongs to the "Clubmate I, II, and III" generation, which improves both sound quality and presentation. The goal is clear: to offer a more "road-proof" set, easier to transport, and visually more appealing, thanks to a scratch-resistant finish and more elegant metal grilles. This range approach also emphasizes power coherence between subwoofer and satellites, as well as the behavior of the integrated compression and limiting circuits.
What Uses Is This Pack Intended For?
This Clubmate is particularly suited for mobile DJs, events, small live performances, and occasions requiring solid bass while maintaining clear reproduction in the midrange and treble. The 15-inch subwoofer provides the essential foundation for contemporary music, while the 8-inch / 1-inch satellites offer precise coverage for vocals, synths, guitars, or overheads.
The setup has been designed to remain accessible to non-technical users: the system is quick to install, logical to wire, and stable in its behavior, which is crucial when doing multiple setups and teardowns.
A More Natural Sound and Controlled Dynamics
More precise midrange for a mix that "breathes"
Thanks to the 8-inch midrange drivers in the satellites, the system aims for a more natural and precise rendering in the most sensitive part of the spectrum (vocals, instrument attack, intelligibility). The result: a punchy mix without harshness, with better detail clarity even at higher levels.
Neodymium highs and waveguide: clarity and projection
The satellites feature neodymium tweeters combined with a waveguide specifically adapted for high frequencies. This promotes more controlled dispersion and enhanced definition, useful for maintaining presence and air on a dance floor while reducing listening fatigue.
Internal compressors and limiters: safety and consistency
The integrated dynamic processing (compressors and limiters) is there to protect the system and the drivers from overload. In practice, this helps maintain a consistent response and avoid harsh clipping during peaks (kick, bass drops, microphone vocals), while increasing operational peace of mind during performances.
A 15-inch subwoofer built to handle power
The 15-inch subwoofer benefits from a long linear excursion designed to reduce distortion and support high levels, with a significant theoretical maximum acoustic pressure. This is a real asset for DJ or event setups where low-end impact makes all the difference.
