The TMX16 FX USB is aimed at musicians, sound technicians, associations, schools, rehearsal rooms, places of worship, hosts and event service providers. It is particularly well suited to groups that need to amplify several voices, keyboards, acoustic instruments, drum machines or audio players simultaneously.
In concert, its linear faders and MUTE keys make it possible to act quickly during the performance. The PFL function facilitates monitoring a channel before it is sent to the main mix, which is useful for preparing a source or identifying a signal. For home studios and rehearsals, the USB input, built-in MP3 player and BT/USB section provide convenient playback of backing tracks or soundtracks.
Thanks to its +48 V phantom power, the console can also accommodate compatible condenser microphones. It therefore fits naturally into a setup for speeches, simple recording or sound reinforcement for small and medium-sized stages.
Precise mixing with built-in effects, equalization and USB playback
Each channel on the TMX16 FX USB features a gain control for matching the input level to microphones and line sources. The 3-band HIGH, MID and LOW equalizer can then be used to correct or enhance the tone of each source: attenuating an overpowering low end, clarifying a vocal or restoring presence to an instrument.
The AUX send on each channel enables the creation of a monitor mix or the routing of a signal to external equipment. At the same time, the individual FX level allows you to adjust the quantity of signal sent to the internal DSP processor. It includes 16 programmed effects and features FX Select, Parameter and FX Send controls for quickly adjusting the atmosphere of the mix, particularly on vocals.
The 7-band graphic equalizer affects the overall sound, with targeted frequencies from 63 Hz to 16 kHz. It helps fine-tune the balance of the sound system according to the venue's acoustics. The output connectivity includes MAIN OUT L/R for the main system, an AUX SEND output, CTRL ROOM outputs for control room monitoring and a PHONES output for headphones. The PEAK indicators on each channel help monitor levels and reduce the risk of clipping.
