Dehaske My First Concert

Summary of This Collection

This collection with CD is designed to support clarinetists in practical musical work from the early years of practice. The sheet music, deliberately set at an EASY level, allows focus on the essentials: sound production, stability of tone, articulation, phrasing, and rhythmic consistency. The goal is to play "musically" quickly, with pieces suited to a calm and motivating progression.

The CD provides real educational value: it helps establish a steady tempo, develop the ear (entries, breaths, phrase endings), and build confidence through playing with accompaniment. It is also an excellent tool to vary practice sessions: initial listening, playing with the track, then solo practice to check accuracy. In lessons, the teacher can rely on this format to work on interpretation, dynamics, and ensemble, while keeping content immediately usable for the student.

With its 28 pages, this collection fits easily into a clarinet sheet music library: a compact, practical-to-carry resource, especially relevant for beginner musicians, returning players after a break, or anyone seeking easy repertoire with play-along.
