Denis Wick Straight Mute (Trombone)

Denis Wick, a tradition dedicated to brass instruments

As a trombonist with the London Symphony Orchestra, Denis Wick created his brand to develop the accessories he was missing. The British manufacturer has since become a benchmark among instrumentalists and orchestras, with an extensive range of mutes for brass instruments.

Approaching muted trombone playing

This straight mute for trombone is suitable for both students and experienced musicians, particularly for classical, orchestral or jazz scores requiring this effect. It transforms the sound color without replacing a practice mute designed to significantly reduce the volume.

Wood for exploring a different sound color

A straight mute is placed in the bell, the flared end of the instrument, to alter its timbre. Wood allows you to explore a different sound color from that of metal models.
