The DOD Boneshaker is intended for guitarists and bassists who want a thick, articulate distortion capable of cutting through in a band mix. It excels in hard rock, metal (from modern to more "old school"), stoner, grunge, alt-rock, but can also serve as a "dirty boost" to thicken an already saturated channel.

In the studio, its EQ allows you to quickly find the midrange area that makes a riff stand out or, conversely, to scoop out space for vocals. Live, it's an asset for adapting to an unknown backline: a small frequency adjustment and your tone feels familiar again.

Controls and Features: A Distortion + a True Sculpting Tool

At the heart of the Boneshaker, you'll find a pair of Level and Distortion controls to adjust output volume and gain, complemented by a Depth control that reinforces the low-end foundation. What sets it apart is its 3-band parametric EQ : each band has both a level and a frequency control. The result: you don't just add bass or treble; you target exactly the zone that transforms your sound (pick attack, "growl," presence, brightness, etc.).

The pedal operates in True Bypass to preserve signal integrity when the effect is off. The connectivity is intentionally simple and effective: asymmetrical 6.35mm Jack input and output, perfect for quick integration into any pedalboard.

The Sound

The Boneshaker delivers a dense and aggressive distortion, with a gritty edge that can flirt with a "fuzz" texture depending on settings. Its strong point is the feeling of control: you can make it sound massive and dark for doom/stoner, or more tight and cutting for metal rhythms.
