Following the 2012, designed for ensemble capture

The 2015 stands alongside the 2012 within the same family of pre-polarized condenser microphones. Both share a 17 mm capsule architecture, but the 2015 is distinguished by its wide cardioid directivity, designed to cover a broad area with an open and natural sound. Compact and discreet, it easily finds its place on stage as well as in the studio.

Designed for sound engineers, backliners, and demanding creators, the 2015 excels whenever a clean capture of a wide sound field is needed without losing definition. Its signature ensures a clear and coherent recording, even in close proximity situations between sources.

Wide cardioid directivity

Its "wide cardioid" offers a generous sweet spot, reducing timbre variations when musicians move. The result: a more stable image, an "open" sound, and faithful transient reproduction.

Optimized placement and controlled proximity effect

The frequency response is linear at 30 cm, a practical reference for close placements. Like any directional microphone, the 2015 exhibits a proximity effect: adjust the distance and angle to balance the low end without losing tonal balance.

Durability and discretion

The reinforced construction withstands the intensity of stages and tours, while the compact format facilitates tight placements above a drum kit, inside a piano, or within a brass section.
