Julietta: The Duesenberg Spirit, More Accessible Than Ever
Julietta stands as the most affordable model in the Duesenberg range to date, while retaining the brand's essential markers: meticulous finishes, premium playing feel, and an immediately recognizable sonic identity. It follows a proven recipe (solid alder and maple) combined with ambitious in-house electronics to offer a true Duesenberg, without dilution.
For Whom and Which Styles?
Thanks to its comfortable handling and versatile electronics, the Julietta suits both the intermediate guitarist looking for a reliable stage guitar and the advanced musician wanting an effective, inspiring electric with a bold look. Its P90 and humbucker duo makes it comfortable in blues, rock, indie, pop, and even more rootsy styles, with a great ability to shift from a round sound to a more incisive grain.
The Sound
The solid alder body provides a natural balance, with firm lows and clear mids, while the maple neck enhances attack and brightness. On the pickup side, the Domino P90 at the neck offers an open, lively sound, perfect for rich chords and singing solos, with the slightly gritty character typical of P90s. At the bridge, the GrandVintage Humbucker delivers more density and punch, ideal for riffs that cut through the mix and leads with sustain. The 5-position selector and volume/tone controls allow quick navigation between clear textures, thicker sounds, and very musical intermediate positions.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
The Julietta comes with a Duesenberg Custom Line gig bag and the necessary Allen keys. To stay true to the original setup, a set of 010-050 strings (same gauge as supplied) is a safe choice to maintain the instrument's feel, balance, and response.
