In the studio, it becomes a sound design tool to place an instrument "behind the screen," thicken a take, or create transitions. Live, it excels at the end of the chain to transform a classic pedalboard into a landscape machine, with filter movements that react to playing and open the space without changing presets.

Key Controls and Functions: Filter Modes, Stereo Movements, and Stretch

The resonant low-pass filter is the helm of the Towers. In Manual mode, you directly control the frequency via the Frequency knob, with the possibility to create opposite movements between the left and right channels for spectacular stereo relief. Envelope mode transforms your dynamics into modulation: each attack triggers resonance, while Frequency adjusts sensitivity to maintain a musical behavior according to your instrument and touch. In LFO mode, a slow oscillator sweeps the stereo field and Frequency sets the speed, perfect for obtaining breathing pads, dark waves, or a very cinematic "synth" movement.
The Stretch function takes the experience even further: by slowing down the processor speed, it doubles the reverb duration and brings a deliberate lo-fi character. Delay lines dissociate, the filter blurs, frequency response drops, and surprises appear: granularity, controlled instability, expressive irregularities. It is a formidable parameter to set an atmosphere, create a build-up, or shift a piece toward a more dreamy and supernatural zone.

The Towers' signature is massive, deep, and darkly luminous: a large "cathedral" reverb nourished by micro-delays that give the impression the sound generates and regenerates itself in space. The resonant low-pass filter provides warm and vibrant tones, reminiscent of vintage synthesizer filters, and allows moving from a soft, velvety veil to a more pronounced, almost harmonic resonance. Depending on the chosen mode (Manual, Envelope, or LFO), the Towers can remain a subtle atmosphere sculptor or become a movement machine that reacts to your playing, attack placement, and note sustain. With Stretch, the texture thickens and intentionally imperfects, for unique, lively, and very inspiring atmospheres.
