The PCH2-OM is particularly aimed at serious beginners to intermediate guitarists who want a comfortable, accurate, and responsive acoustic without excessive bass. It excels in fingerstyle, pop, folk, vocal accompaniment, and remains very comfortable in strumming thanks to its X-braced bracing. Its traditional "C" neck profile and 12" radius promote natural playing, both in open chords and precise arpeggios.

The thermally treated solid Sitka spruce top delivers a crisp attack, excellent note-to-note definition, and effective projection, ideal for highlighting fingerstyle details. The laminated rosewood back and sides contribute to a stable and balanced tonal foundation, with clean lows and clear highs. The X-Braced bracing supports dynamics and resonance, while the rosewood/bone bridge and bone nut facilitate direct vibration transmission, resulting in a quick response feel and natural sustain.
