The 3-position selector allows instant switching between tones, and the electronics (CTS 250k, 0.022 uF capacitors, Gavitt braided wiring) contribute to a usable volume sweep and progressive tone control, useful for shaping gain without losing presence. The Gotoh bridge and chrome-plated brass trapeze tailpiece contribute to solid sustain and a stable feel under the right hand.
