What Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Download Is For
Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Download is a virtual instrument dedicated to orchestral composition and production. It allows you to create realistic symphonic arrangements for film music, video games, advertising, contemporary classical music, or pop productions requiring cinematic strings and brass. Thanks to the natural ambiance of the hall captured during recording, your parts immediately gain depth and credibility, even with a fast workflow.
Main Features
A recording approach designed like a "live" session
The collection was recorded by Prof. Keith O. Johnson, a Grammy-nominated sound engineer, in a high-end concert hall. The venue's acoustics are integrated into the sound: they provide natural brilliance and coherence that facilitate mixing without having to artificially recreate the space.
Space control with close, stage, and surround microphones
Each instrument is sampled with multiple microphone positions (close, stage, surround). You can thus switch from a precise and present sound to a wide and enveloping orchestral image, ideal for cinematic productions.
Expressive playing: Intelligent Performance and transition realism
The Intelligent Performance section notably includes Portamento, Repetition, Legato, and Round Robin Reset to vary attacks, smooth transitions, and make repetitions more natural. A release trails engine automatically adapts note endings to velocity volumes, maintaining coherent musical behavior in both soft passages and tutti sections.
