Wildwood: Nature at the Heart of the Eko Range

With the Wildwood series, Eko celebrates the raw beauty of wood. The satin "open pore" finish reveals the grain and directly transmits vibrations to the lightweight, resonant paulownia body. The "roasted" tint and flamed maple pickguard highlight a natural and lively look, echoing the brand's artisanal spirit.

Who Is This Guitar For and What Styles Does It Suit?

Stable, comfortable, and intuitive, the Fire 701 Wildwood is perfect for beginner to intermediate guitarists seeking an easy-to-play and expressive electric guitar. Its HH configuration and 5-position selector effortlessly cover rock, hard rock, and metal, while also offering softer tones for blues, pop, indie, or modern jazz.

The Sound

The paulownia body delivers a quick response with airy mids and great projection. The torrefied maple neck and fingerboard provide attack, precision, and sustain. The two humbuckers offer dense lows, present mids, and silky highs; the selector's intermediate positions enrich the palette with clearer or scooped nuances. The EKO Steel HRC57 vibrato (individual saddles) and 4+2 locking tuners guarantee tuning accuracy and stability, even during intense vibrato expressions.
