Designed in partnership with Gibson Custom, it features iconic codes: "openbook" headstock, "LesPaul Model" marking, trapezoid inlays, and sunburst look, while relying on a selection of high-end components to recapture the character and dynamics expected from a great Les Paul.

The Sound

The mahogany body provides dense mids, a sense of sustain, and a warm attack, typical of solid bodies with a "rock" temperament. The maple top with AAA flamed maple veneer adds definition and extra clarity, useful for maintaining note clarity under distortion. The two Gibson Custombucker pickups (Alnico 3 magnets) deliver a very musical PAF tone: a full and velvety neck pickup for singing leads, and a sharper bridge pickup for riffs and solos that need to cut through the mix.
