A "Custom" Icon from the Inspired by Gibson Collection

Born to enhance the aesthetics and prestige of the SG, this "Custom" version adopts the high-end codes cherished by historic models: elegant binding, pearloid inlays, and a headstock adorned with the famous Split Diamond motif. True to the "Inspired by Gibson" spirit, it modernizes playability while respecting the iconic SG's sonic and visual DNA.

Who Is It For and What Styles?

Ideal for intermediate to advanced guitarists, it also suits ambitious beginners seeking a durable instrument. Its palette covers rock, hard rock, blues, punk, and classic metal, with bright cleans and punchy crunches perfect for indie and powerful pop.

Sound

The mahogany body/neck combination and ebony fingerboard deliver singing mids, firm lows, and precise attack. The ProBucker Custom pickups, inspired by PAFs, provide a rich and articulate range: the neck pickup is round and expressive, while the bridge pickup is sharper and more aggressive. The 2 volume/2 tone wiring allows fine blending in the middle position, while the LockTone bridge and set neck promote sustain and tuning stability.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

Complete this SG with a set of 6-string electric guitar strings in gauge 10-46 (or 9-42 for more flexibility). For transport, a dedicated Epiphone hard case for SG format will provide optimal protection. Add a quality strap and a universal fork stand to secure the instrument at home or in the studio.
