Esteve: Spanish Classical Luthiery Between Tradition and Modernity
Renowned for their meticulous finish and acoustic qualities, Esteve classical guitars rely on demanding craftsmanship carried out by a team of specialized artisans. The MOD.8CE fits within this approach: an instrument crafted with premium woods and precise execution, designed to deliver an inspiring sound while meeting the current needs of guitarists, notably through electrification and the cutaway.
For Which Guitarist and Styles?
The Esteve MOD.8CE is particularly aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a classical guitar with character, equally comfortable in acoustic and amplified playing. Its cutaway favors soloist repertoire and modern arrangements, while its balanced voice is perfectly suited to classical, Latin colors, bossa, and more contemporary nylon guitar approaches on stage.
Sound
The solid cedar top provides a quick response, natural warmth, and a very expressive palette of nuances, especially appreciated at low to medium dynamics. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides enhance bass depth, treble clarity, and sustain, with solid projection that highlights melodic phrases. The whole offers a full and defined sound, and the Fishman Matrix Infinity preamp allows this sonic identity to be preserved when plugged in, delivering a clear and balanced output.
