A "Touring" Design with Push-Pull Mounting and Bass Reflex

This active subwoofer relies on a highly sought-after combination in professional sound reinforcement: a Bass Reflex enclosure to optimize low-end extension, combined with a Push-Pull mounting that helps reduce certain distortions and maintain clearer bass at high levels. With its 2 x 15-inch Neodymium B&C drivers and a rated power of 2000W RMS, it naturally fits into the category of cabinets designed to handle pressure in event contexts.

Manufactured in Italy and featuring an enclosure made of 18 mm birch plywood, it is designed for touring: robust, stable, and consistent for regular use, both in live events and installations.

Who Is It For and What Are Its Uses?

This cabinet is intended for users seeking physical and structured bass for sound reinforcement systems: service providers, DJs, clubs, concert halls, mobile stages, or installations requiring a solid foundation. Its frequency response from 33 to 100 Hz makes it an excellent reinforcement for full-range heads, handling the impact and depth area where most full-range speakers lose power.

With a maximum SPL of 146 dB, it is built for sustained high levels. On the downside, its weight of 95 kg requires appropriate logistics: handling by multiple people and organized transport, despite the presence of 4 handles.

DSP Processing, Settings, and Control: Efficiency in the Field

DSP with Presets: Quick Adjustment According to Configuration

The integrated DSP offers 6 presets to adapt the subwoofer's behavior to different contexts (coupling, placement, desired sound). This approach saves setup time and makes it easier to achieve a consistent result, whether in front-of-house, cardioid/aligned configuration (depending on the overall system), or installation.

Delay, Phase, and Level: Alignment for Impact

Delay adjustment facilitates temporal alignment with the main speakers, essential to maximize attack and avoid the "delayed bass" effect. The phase inverter helps correct cancellations depending on placement (proximity to a wall, distance from tops, stacking). Finally, the volume control allows precise bass level adjustment within the mix, without relying solely on the controller or console.

XLR Connectivity with Links: Simple Integration

With its 2 XLR inputs and 2 XLR link outputs, the cabinet easily integrates into standard sound reinforcement cabling. The link outputs allow chaining a second subwoofer or redistributing the signal to other system elements, maintaining a quick and clean setup.
