2-way Configuration: Balance and Precision

The Ventis 112M combines a 12" speaker and a 1" tweeter to offer versatile monitoring: present low-mids to firmly "place" instruments on stage, and sufficiently defined highs for vocal clarity and attack articulation. The 1.6 kHz crossover frequency ensures a coherent transition between drivers.

Acoustic Pressure and Efficiency: Keeping Headroom

With a 98 dB sensitivity and a 129 dB peak SPL, this wedge maintains reserve for louder stages while limiting the feeling of pushing the system too hard. Its 250 W RMS power (and 1000 W Peak ) supports professional use, with a recommended amplifier of 500 W RMS for optimal performance.

Recommended Filtering: Protect, Clean, Optimize

For clean and safe stage use, a recommended high-pass filter at 50 Hz (12-24 dB/oct) helps reduce unnecessary low frequencies (stage noise, vibrations, mic proximity) and improves monitor mix stability. An external recommended filter FBT DLM26 is suggested for filtering/processing in a more complete signal chain.
