The two Coastline '62 Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups deliver the expected "growl" and dynamics: neck pickup for a warm, full foundation; bridge pickup for more bite and precision; and both together for the famous mid scoop, very effective for slap or rhythmic playing. The Greasebucket tone circuit softens the highs without artificially thickening the low end, useful for keeping a clear sound in the studio and controlled presence on stage.
