Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
The Blues Junior is one of Fender's most acclaimed combos over recent decades, appreciated for its simplicity, portability, and "American vintage" character. The "Lacquered Tweed" version pays tribute to the 1950s models with its lacquered tweed covering and a Jensen speaker chosen for its classic timbre. Within the range, it stands out as a versatile 15 W amp, positioned between small practice combos and more powerful stage heads/combos.
Who This Amp Is For
Ideal for intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking an inspiring all-tube combo, the Blues Junior Lacquered Tweed excels in rehearsals, clubs, home studios, and small to medium-sized stages. It effortlessly covers blues, vintage rock, country, soul, indie, and light jazz, with enough clean headroom for moderate drumming and a great ability to "crunch" when pushing the volume.

An old-fashioned amp, certainly brilliant but with such a characteristic sound! I use it with a standard Les Paul for blues at home with a Klon Archer and a TS from Ibanez it sounds great!
Be careful, on the other hand, my master does not exceed 3 or 2 in the evening but it is more than enough to push the volume (including gain) and therefore the preamp tubes up to a very nice crunch!
The reverb is nice but I think I'll take a Strymon to replace it and have more optionsAutomatically translated

I am delighted with my purchase. The quality of Fender sound that I expected is there. Great in rehearsal with friends and also in my living room. For now, I have not gone further than position 6 of the master button. The amp is also very convenient to carry. And I love the vintage look!
