Fender Ensenada Series LTD Edition MN Satin 2-Color Sunburst

An LTD in the "sixties" spirit, built for today's stage

This Ensenada Series LTD edition captures the visual and sonic DNA of the 60s Strat while incorporating decidedly modern choices. The Vintera '60s pickups emphasize brightness, attack, and the typical "bell" tone characteristic of great vintage sounds, while playability benefits from a flatter radius and Medium Jumbo frets. The satin finish, both elegant and understated, enhances the impression of a "ready-to-play" instrument, unpretentious, with true personality under the fingers.

Who is it for, and what styles?

With its comfortable neck and SSS configuration, this electric guitar appeals to a wide audience: from the serious beginner seeking a reliable and inspiring foundation, to the intermediate/advanced player looking for a Strat with vintage character but more forgiving comfort. It excels in funk, pop, blues, indie, classic rock, soul, and anything requiring dynamic clean tones or articulate crunches. The 2-point vibrato also opens the door to more expressive phrasing (shimmer, gentle vibratos, rhythmic accents) without compromising the "Strat" spirit.

A Strat tonal palette: clarity, quack, and bite

The alder body delivers a very "Stratocaster" balance: present mids, clean lows, and well-defined highs. Combined with a maple fingerboard and neck, it offers a crisp attack, excellent chord clarity, and a very direct response to both pick and fingers.
The three Vintera '60s Stratocaster single-coil pickups provide a bright and lively tonal signature. The neck pickup favors round and singing tones, ideal for blues leads and wide arpeggios. The middle pickup maintains clarity and balance for clean rhythm playing. The bridge pickup, supported by a dedicated tone control, gains in control and allows everything from sharp twang to tighter, more biting overdrive. The intermediate positions (2 and 4 on the 5-way selector) deliver the famous "quack" typical of Stratocasters, perfect for funk and pop rhythms that need to stand out without taking up too much space.
On the electronics side, the Master Volume + two tone controls (Tone 1 for neck/middle pickups, Tone 2 for bridge pickup) layout is designed to quickly shape the high end and adapt the guitar to the amp, pedals, and playing style. The 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles promotes a smoother feel and consistent response, useful for both subtle effects and more pronounced expressiveness.

Recommended compatible accessories

As no case or gig bag is included, plan for a transport solution suited to your needs. To complete your setup safely, you can also add a strap (standard size), a 6.35 mm guitar cable, a tuner, and a stand for storage. A set of 6-string electric guitar strings is of course compatible, according to your usual gauge and tuning.
