Hello, tried in store with a Schecter hellraiser 6FR with EMG 81 TW and EMG 89R pickup + BOSS ST-2 and BOSS CH-1 distortion pedal.
The clean sound is really very pleasant with a lot of warmth and chatter in the sound! The large midrange of the guitar coupled with the clarity of this Fender amp allows you to obtain a very good sustain and a long duration of note panic! The chorus goes very well with the clean sound and the guitar.
In terms of distortion, the amp allows you to play very blues/rock things with these 2 1/2 overdrive channels.
For my purposes, I use my ST2 distortion pedal.
The rendering is great! At 1/10 volume and the pedal with low volume, you'll almost get feedback without doing anything! The grain of sound is there, it sounds heavy and it does not affect the amplifier!
