An Acoustasonic in Jazzmaster Format: Fender Innovation Serving Versatility

The American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster is part of Fender's approach to fuse the acoustic and electric worlds within a single instrument. Its large hollow body inspired by the Jazzmaster (the largest format in the Acoustasonic series) emphasizes a powerful acoustic response, while the Acoustic Engine developed with Fishman opens access to unprecedented tone combinations. Made in Corona, California, it embodies a high-end approach to the modern electro-acoustic guitar.

Who It's For, and Which Styles

This guitar is aimed at intermediate to advanced musicians who want to cover multiple registers with one instrument: acoustic accompaniment, detailed arpeggios, pop/rock, indie, groove in rhythm playing, and more cutting sounds when the humbucker is engaged. It is especially suitable for stage and studio guitarists seeking a smooth transition between acoustic timbres and more electric attack without changing guitars.

Sound

The solid Sitka spruce top provides clarity, dynamics, and definition, while the mahogany body/back/sides enhance warmth, roundness, and presence in the low-midrange. The "Modified Jazzmaster" format and body design favor broad projection with well-grounded lows. On the amplification side, the 3-system configuration (piezo under the saddle, internal body sensor, and Acoustasonic Shawbucker) allows for a range from precise acoustic response to denser, more aggressive humbucker-style textures, with progressive blending via the Mod knob and quick selection via the 5-position switch.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

The guitar comes with a Deluxe 1225 gig bag. For power, plan on a 5 V DC / 1,000 mA USB charger and a micro USB cable (not included), according to the specified requirements.
