Heir to a Sixties Icon
The Precision Bass shaped the recordings of the 60s. The Vintera II brings this identity to the forefront with specifications faithful to instruments of the era, while offering the stability of modern manufacturing. You get the aesthetics, feel, and dynamic response that made the P-Bass legendary, without the constraints of a vintage model.
For Whom and Which Styles?
Designed for intermediate to advanced bassists, this Vintera II excels both fingerstyle and with a pick. It easily covers soul/Motown, rock, pop, funk, and indie. Its single split-coil pickup and volume/tone controls provide a wide palette, from muted "thump" in palm-muting to punchy lines that cut through the mix.
The Sound
The alder body delivers a balanced, snappy, and responsive foundation. The maple neck/rosewood fingerboard adds attack, definition, and a touch of warmth. The 60's style split single-coil (passive, 1 volume/1 tone) embodies the P-Bass DNA: round lows, muscular mids, silky highs. The 4 threaded steel saddles bridge enhances attack and precision, while the vintage 7.25" radius promotes natural, singing playability with generous sustain.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
Comes with a Deluxe gig bag. For maintenance and playing, choose 34" long scale bass strings in .045-.105 gauge (compatible), and for reinforced transport, a Precision Bass 34" molded hard case. A standard strap fits the original strap buttons.
