  • 4-saddle threaded bridge and "lollipop" tuners for stable and reliable intonation

A Faithful Tribute to Late Sixties Precision Basses

Made in Mexico, the Vintera III Late '60s P-Bass belongs to the line of Fender reissues that faithfully reproduce the aesthetics, ergonomics, and iconic tone of the late 1960s. No binding, 3-ply "parchment" pickguard, and nickel/chrome hardware create a simple and classic ensemble designed for purists as well as modern bassists seeking an instrument with a strong character.

For Which Musician and Styles?

Versatile yet decidedly "vintage-voiced," this 4-string electric bass suits players from beginner to advanced levels. Ideal for rock, soul, R&B, old-school funk, and indie, it provides a solid foundation both in the studio and on stage. The late "C" neck and small radius fingerboard favor fingerstyle, pick playing, or palm muting, offering a familiar feel for lovers of authentic sensations.

The Sound

The alder body delivers a natural balance between firm lows and present mids, while the maple neck and rosewood fingerboard add attack and woody warmth. The late 60s style split single-coil pickup delivers the legendary Precision tone: clear fundamental note, generous sustain, and a presence that cuts through the mix without harshness. The simple Volume/Tone wiring allows you to shift from a muffled, round sound (tone rolled off) to a more snappy and articulate tone (tone open). The vintage bridge with threaded saddles optimizes vibration transfer and facilitates precise string spacing adjustment.
