The Vintage Stratocaster Spirit Revisited in the American Professional Classic Range
The Fender American Professional Classic Stratocaster retains the features that have made the Stratocaster famous: an ergonomically contoured alder body, a three-single-coil pickup configuration, a synchronized tremolo and vintage-inspired hardware. It evolves these elements with modern choices, including a roasted maple neck and components designed to provide reliable performance on stage and in the studio.
This limited edition stands out with its elegant Daphne Blue finishing, complemented by a three-ply Mint Green pickguard, Aged White pickup covers and matching knobs. The overall look recalls Fender guitars from the 1960s while retaining a distinctly contemporary identity.
A Versatile Electric Guitar for Fans of Authentic Fender Tones
This Stratocaster is aimed at intermediate guitarists and experienced musicians looking for an expressive, comfortable American electric guitar with an instantly familiar feel. Its Modern " C " neck, 9.5" / 241 mm radius and Medium Jumbo frets make open chords, precise rhythm playing, wide bends and nuanced solos easier to play.
Its versatility is particularly well suited to blues, classic rock, pop, funk, indie, soul and fusion styles. The five selector positions let you move from a sharp, direct bridge sound to rounder neck textures, while retaining the classic Stratocaster in-between positions, ideal for funk strumming and crystalline arpeggios.
The Full, Sparkling Tone of the Custom Shop Fat '60s Pickups
The alder body provides a balanced response, with present mids, firm lows and defined highs. Combined with the roasted maple neck and key, it promotes a clear attack, strong projection and excellent note definition when your playing becomes more dynamic or driven.
The three Custom Shop Fat '60s Stratocaster pickups retain the crisp, transparent character expected from an SSS configuration while adding greater depth and body. The bridge pickup delivers punchy tones for riffs and biting solos, the middle pickup offers balanced reproduction, while the neck pickup produces rounded, singing sounds suited to blues and melodic lines.
The RWRP middle pickup reduces unwanted noise in the combined positions with the bridge or neck pickup. Separate tone controls let you fine-tune the high frequencies, while the Greasebucket circuit applied to the bridge pickup attenuates the highs without unnecessarily thickening the signal. The result remains precise, even with moderate overdrive or distortion.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To preserve the original setup, this guitar can be fitted with nickel-plated steel electric guitar strings in a .009-.042 gauge. This light gauge maintains playing flexibility, comfortable bends and the response of the synchronized tremolo. A suitable spare set of strings is a practical choice for rehearsals, concerts and regular instrument maintenance.
