With its U-profile maple neck, long 25.5" / 648 mm scale length and 22 Medium frets, this FGN Boundary is suitable for motivated beginners as well as intermediate or advanced players looking for a versatile electric guitar. Its pickup configuration and 5-way selector open the door to a wide range of styles: pop, rock, funk, blues, indie, French pop, soul and alternative music. It works equally well with articulate clean sounds, expressive crunch tones and heavier overdrive, depending on the amplifier and effects used.

Three FGN BOS pickups for moving from precise cleans to a more assertive sound

The basswood body provides a balanced foundation, appreciated for its consistent response and its ability to let the pickups' character shine through. Combined with the maple neck and key, it promotes a crisp attack and clear articulation, particularly useful for detailed rhythms, arpeggios and chord-based playing.

The electronics are built around three FGN BOS pickups: a BOS-n in the neck position, a BOS-n RWRP in the middle position and a BOS-b at the bridge. This arrangement makes it possible to vary the textures according to the selected position. The neck pickup favors rounder tones for melodic lines and mellow accompaniment, while the bridge pickup delivers more bite and presence for riffs, rock rhythms and solos that need to stand out in the mix.

The 5-way selector makes it easy to transition between individual pickup voices and pickup combinations. The two tone controls can soften the attack or retain more sparkle depending on the style being played, while the master volume helps adjust the output level directly from the guitar. This simple, intuitive electronics setup encourages spontaneous playing without complicating the controls.
