The Neo Classic NST100RAL-VWH follows a "neo-traditional" approach: it takes the codes of great historical three single-coil guitars while adding improvements focused on playability and reliability. The selector's intermediate positions are ideal for "scooped" tones typical of funk, pop, and indie, while the neck and bridge positions easily cover blues, vintage rock, country, and clear, articulated rhythms.
Sound Characteristics
The alder body provides a natural balance: present mids, clear highs, and clean lows, highlighting playing nuances and pick attacks. The trio of FGN 63VS-HOT single-coil pickups offers a clear and punchy identity, with a higher output level than a strictly vintage set, useful for pushing the amp without losing tone. The reverse polarity middle pickup helps achieve quieter and very "glassy" positions 2 and 4.
