An onboard preamp to gain level, clarity, and control
The Fishman Amps Preamp Jack Powerjack is a preamplification system intended for acoustic guitars equipped with a passive pickup. Its role is clear: to provide the necessary gain to achieve a stronger and more usable signal while avoiding altering the character of your instrument. The result: cleaner, more precise, and more stable amplification, particularly useful when playing through an acoustic amp, PA system, or during recording.
Key point: the Preamp Jack Powerjack does not contain a microphone. It is a preamp designed to optimize an existing system. If you are looking for a complete pickup solution, this product does not replace a microphone: it complements it by making a passive pickup more efficient and better suited to the demands of the stage.
