An Electro-Acoustic Grand Auditorium Designed for Versatility
With the Green Gc, Furch offers an electro-acoustic guitar focused on essentials: carefully selected solid woods, a satin finish promoting the instrument's breathability, and a Grand Auditorium format renowned for its great adaptability. The cutaway enhances its "modern playing" orientation, maintaining comfortable handling while opening access to higher registers.
Who Is This Furch Green Gc For?
This electro-acoustic guitar is particularly suitable for intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking an expressive, precise, and balanced instrument, equally suited for accompaniment and more melodic parts. The 43 mm nut width provides a modern feel, appreciated in rhythm playing, fast arpeggios, and transitions from electric guitar. Its Grand Auditorium format and cutaway make it an excellent choice for pop, folk, indie, acoustic jazz, and open tuning styles.
Sound
The solid Sitka spruce top delivers attack, clarity, and excellent note-to-note definition, with a nice dynamic reserve when increasing pick intensity. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides enhance bass depth, spectrum width, and harmonic complexity, while maintaining clear and singing highs. The satin finish promotes freer resonance and a "living wood" feel, resulting in an instrument that responds quickly and projects naturally, both acoustically and when plugged in via the LR Baggs EAS-VTC system.
