Furch Yellow Grand Auditorium Cr

A Yellow Designed for Balance: the "G-CR" Signature

Within the Yellow range, the Furch G-CR stands out by combining woods aimed at finesse and expressiveness: the cedar provides a soft and immediate attack, while the solid rosewood supports harmonic depth and definition. The Grand Auditorium format complements this approach by offering a homogeneous output across the entire spectrum, without excess, with excellent note-to-note clarity.

For Whom and Which Styles?

This high-end acoustic guitar is intended for intermediate to expert guitarists seeking a responsive instrument capable of precisely translating right-hand variations. It excels in fingerstyle, open chord accompaniment, arpeggios, and subtle playing where dynamics and tone must remain controlled. Its Grand Auditorium format is also well suited for musicians wanting a versatile acoustic, comfortable both in solo and accompaniment settings.

Sound Characteristics

The AAA solid cedar top promotes a quick response, a feeling of "ease" under the fingers, and singing mids, particularly appreciated for nuances and expressive playing. The AA solid rosewood back and sides enhance harmonic complexity, with bright trebles and good definition, while maintaining present but restrained bass to keep overall balance. The voicing works on harmonic response and dynamics: the guitar reacts finely to light attacks as well as accents, with balanced projection typical of the Grand Auditorium.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To preserve the original feel and balance, favor a set of phosphor bronze 12-53 strings, identical to the factory setup (Elixir Ph-Bz 12-53). A replacement with equivalent gauge will maintain the response, dynamics, and playing comfort intended by the luthiery.
