The Sound
The duo of solid mahogany (one-piece lightweight back) and maple (two-piece top) provides a classic Les Paul foundation: rich mids, firm lows, and precise highs. The two P90 Soapbar pickups deliver a very organic texture: more air and grain than a humbucker, with a more "percussive" attack and excellent chord clarity. The wraparound enhances the immediate response feel, with natural note sustain and a very expressive "vocal" quality. The refined electronics (CTS potentiometers and Paper-in-Oil capacitors) allow truly usable tone settings, perfect for sculpting crunch and softening highs without muffling the playing.
