The un-waxed Alnico 3 Custombuckers provide an airy, three-dimensional tone: velvety "bloom" in the neck position, woody and precise bite at the bridge, and a very musical midrange. The CTS 500K circuit and Paper-in-Oil capacitors maintain high-frequency openness when rolling down the volumes. The ABR-1 bridge / lightweight aluminum tailpiece combo enhances attack, note sustain, and string balance, while the 50s Rounded Medium C neck profile promotes a full tone and reliable intonation.
