From the "SJ-200" Legend to This Pre-War Recreation
Born in 1937, the SJ-200 established itself as "the king of flat-top guitars" through its stage presence and volume. Until 1947, its sides and back were made of rosewood, a rare and highly sought-after configuration today. This Gibson Custom Pre-War SJ-200 Rosewood Light Aged replicates the aesthetics and techniques of the golden age: multi-ply binding, ornate pickguard, mustache bridge, two-piece maple neck with walnut truss rod and stinger on the back of the headstock.
