A Tribute to the 60s: The Les Paul DNA, Faded Version
The Les Paul Standard 60s Faded goes back to basics with the codes that shaped decades of rock, blues, and pop: traditional luthiery, classic aesthetics, and a satin finish that prioritizes playing feel. This "Faded" version focuses on authenticity and comfort while retaining the quality of materials and the spirit of Gibson's golden age Les Pauls.
Who Is It For, and What Styles?
This electric guitar is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a true Les Paul: round in clean tones, powerful in crunch, and formidable in distortion. Perfect for blues, rock, hard rock, pop, and any music requiring body, sustain, and excellent response to right-hand nuances.
Sound Characteristics
The combination of solid mahogany (body + neck) and AA figured maple top delivers a typically Les Paul signature: dense low-mids, generous sustain, and sharper attack thanks to the maple. The 60s Burstbucker pickups provide a warm and open palette, with clear definition when rolling down the volume and a natural gain increase when pushing the amp. Hand-wired circuitry, audio taper potentiometers, and Orange Drop capacitors make volume and tone controls very usable for sculpting the tone, from thick cleans to singing leads.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
Delivered with a hard case and a Gibson accessory kit, this Les Paul is ready for rehearsals and stage use. The original 10-46 gauge strings offer an excellent balance of comfort and attack to get the best from the luthiery and Burstbuckers.
