The Sound

The mahogany body + mahogany top combination delivers a warmer texture than a maple-top Les Paul, with rich midrange, slightly softer highs, and dense lows. The Burstbucker 61R (neck) and 61T (bridge) humbuckers provide a dynamic tone: thick and singing sounds at the neck for leads, sharper and more aggressive attack at the bridge for riffs. The 2 Volume / 2 Tone control layout allows fine shaping of saturation and brightness, while the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece promote long sustain and the solid feel typical of Les Pauls.
