A 50s Les Paul with an extra "vintage" soul
The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble follows the recipe that made the Standard 50s famous, adding two strong markers: uncovered pickups with an immediate retro look, and glossy nitrocellulose lacquer finishes offered in "Vintage" versions, slightly aged. Each burst is hand-sprayed, making each instrument visually unique while preserving the classic Les Paul spirit.

This Les Paul is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want an expressive, inspiring instrument designed for both pick and fingerstyle playing. It excels in blues, classic rock, hard rock, and all styles where grain, thickness, and generous sustain are sought. The Vintage 50s neck profile, rounder, promotes a stable grip and comfortable playing for chordal passages as well as bends.
The sound
The mahogany duo (body + neck) and AA figured maple (top) are at the heart of the Les Paul character: rich mids, solid lows, and a more defined attack thanks to the maple, with plenty of sustain. The Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge), equipped with Alnico 2 magnets, deliver a warm, dynamic, and very "vintage" tone: round and singing on the neck for creamy leads, more aggressive and biting at the bridge for riffs and standout solos. The hand-wired electronics, combined with audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors, allow for a progressive and musical tone response, ideal for shaping the sound directly from the guitar.
