To expand its capabilities, additional frequencies have been added, and the midrange band uses two inductors. The higher value of the second inductor is applied to the two lowest frequencies (160 Hz and 240 Hz) to achieve a more optimal response in this crucial area where body and impact reside.

Thanks to the band bypass, you can work "by ear" without losing track: activating/deactivating each stage quickly validates whether a correction truly serves the track. The insert also facilitates integration into an external chain (for example, compressor then EQ, or EQ then compressor) to optimize processing order based on the source and dynamics.

The architecture favors an "old school" approach: no integrated circuits in the signal path and the presence of tantalum capacitors in the audio path for a more organic signature. For the balanced output, a Burr Brown OPA 2602 is used to integrate cleanly into current setups and typical studio cable lengths.
