The Sound

The combination of mahogany (warmth, present mids) and carved solid maple (attack, definition) provides a sonic foundation that is both thick and precise. The two high-output ceramic HotWire humbuckers deliver a modern tone: tight lows, muscular mids, and clear highs even in saturation. The deliberately simple wiring (master volume, master tone, 3-position selector) promotes intuitive use: bridge pickup for impact and bite, neck pickup for a rounder lead, combined positions to balance attack and body. The compensated wrap-around bridge enhances the sustain feel and directness under the fingers.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To stay within the original specifications, plan on a set of nickel-plated steel electric strings in .009-.042 gauge. A standard strap is also suitable for vintage-style strap buttons, as well as a tuner to make the most of the tuning stability.
